USES 2014 - The University of Sheffield Engineering Symposium

USES is a day-long event focusing on showcasing the research pursued in the Faculty of Engineering with special emphasis on interdisciplinary work and promoting collaborations.
This conference is envisaged to bring together researchers, engineers and scientists from around the University to explore the latest technological advances and research results in core areas of engineering.
Through a combination of distinguished plenary speakers, parallel technical thematic sessions led by leading experts from academia and industry and interactive poster sessions, participants will showcase their research efforts and technologies and share visions with each other and with delegates spanning from academia and industry.

 Dainton Graduate Research Centre

Struggling for space? Need somewhere quite? Why don’t you come to the GRC. Based in the Dainton Chemistry Building we offer an exclusively PGR focused environment. Not only allowing you to study in a quiet environment but also providing you with the facilities you need to present your work.  The centre has been designed with students' needs in mind. It has wireless connectivity, social space with soft seating, flexible work space, seminar room and kitchen facilities.
