Everyone makes decisions in different ways and so there is no single best way to plan a career. Indeed for some, the very word ‘career’ seems inappropriate, suggesting a predictable path stretching far into the future. The reality is that most careers unfold and develop, and for the majority of people completing a doctoral degree, the issue is to make a sensible and appropriate next step. This session will introduce you to a number of ways of making effective decisions about that next step.
