Promoting yourself well at Academic interviews

This session will help you to understand the interview practices and other selection methods used in recruitment to teaching and research posts in higher education. You will learn about the results of a detailed survey showing what academic recruiters typically look for and the kind of questions that they use to ascertain whether candidates have the required skills and personal qualities. The session will help you to prepare and present yourself convincingly and confidently at interview. There will be an opportunity to deal with any concerns you may have about the interview process.
