Aim

To introduce users already familiar with basic SPSS to some of the most commonly used advanced statistical techniques in SPSS.

Requirements

A basic knowledge of SPSS is required including the ability to do basic statistic. Simple Graphs and Statistics course is sufficient.

Description

SPSS is a statistical package that is widely used in research for the analysis of quantitative data. The techniques covered here are advances and not available in Microsoft Excel. This will give you some idea of the power of SPSS. The analyses covered are Factorial Anova, Multiple Linear Regression and Logistic Regression. These techniques all fall within a set of techniques called Generalised Linear Models and the course will give you some idea on how to handle the analysis and interpret the results. This is an instructor led course, with a mix of taught sessions and hands on exercises.
